If you are looking for a harmonious, respectful and species-appropriate training, you are at the right place. In the beginning there is the horse as an animal with its basic needs. Understanding, appreciation and communication take on new dimensions in the relationship between human and horse. In the training it is my goal that the students learn to think for themselves, to always question and to develop criteria when something is good and healthy and what it is better not to do. TENSEGRITY TRAINING - Training beyond biomechanics
Welcome to an intensive theory morning with Steffi Fuchs from Germany!
Saturday 22 of March, 10-14h
Price: 50Eur
Up to date horse training goes beyond biomechanics and correct training of muscles and skeleton. Steffi Fuchs gives an introduction about the benefits of Tensegrity Training, which helps to restore balance, enhance locomotion, and sustain the horse's health.
Theory - bodywork - observations on the horse:
Train your eye: With pictures and films, we will discuss numerous cases and receive intensive eye training: Mapping locomotion patterns, identifying postural restrictions (free or trapped elbows, active trunk muscles, slumped back line, tension and relaxation), the work with balance pads (propioception) and much more.
Steffi Fuchs, horse trainer from Germany with broad background in classical training, worked for Anja Beran and learnt from Marc de Broissie among others. She has specialized in #horsetensegritytraining and gives training outside the box.
Clinic is held in easy understandable English.
Autumn 2025: Clinic with Hanna Engström

8 horse/rider-pairs and a limited number of listeners can enjoy Hanna Engström's fantastic teaching. Hanna Engström is licensed trainer by Bent Branderup. and is known as one of the best seat-trainers. In the Academic Art of Riding the declared aim is to ride from the seat. What does your ideal individual seat look like? How can we communicate with the horse from the seat? Hanna Engström answers horse/rider pairs in individual lessons. Listeners participate in the theory and can follow all the lessons.

Internship

Between July and August we offer the possibility of an internship at our farm to learn about the Academic Art of Riding. We offer accommodation and lessons against help on the farm. You have to care for your own food and come with a car as there is no public transport to the farm. We are about to transform the farm to a nature sanctuary. We grow vegetables, reintroduce plants and improve soil quality, inspired by permaculture and regenerative agriculture. For all this we can use helping hands and inspiring minds. Minimum stay 4 weeks.
Walking with horses

Old paths lead us through forest and over hills to historic mills and waterponds. We walk in the rhythm of the horses and open our senses. If we are lucky we can see wild boar and deer and all kind of birds. Walking time 1-2 hours. A good basic level of fitness is required for this offer.
